Sublimation Requirements

Heat press (not an iron) – 385°F–400°F

Light-colored, polyester or poly-coated items - You can ONLY use garments with a minimum of 50% polyester or polymer-coated substrates that are "dye sub ready", this system does not use white ink.

Even pressure, correct press time - proper sized heat press for your substrate and print. 

Always use your preferred substrate blank supplier’s recommendations since coatings and materials can vary slightly.

Pro Tips

Always use butcher paper or blowout paper above and below your item to prevent ink transfer. We use parchment paper and it works great!

Perform a test press before doing large batches.

Adjust time and temp slightly based on your heat press brand and substrate coating.  Make sure to keep a record of the times, heat and pressure used!
