Mike Angel
Mike Angel (born May 8, 1982) is a digital artist whose creative journey began in the world of tattoo art. Building a strong foundation in traditional techniques, he spent years working as a freelance artist using oil paints, acrylics, and markers, developing a bold visual style rooted in craftsmanship and detail.
As his career evolved, Mike fully transitioned into digital art, bringing his traditional art sensibilities into the digital space. He has since become an active contributor within the trading card game (TCG) community, collaborating with a variety of companies and creators. His early digital projects included work with Evolutions Trading, which helped establish his presence in the TCG art scene.
Currently, Mike works closely with 20LorePro, a streaming company dedicated to the TCG community, where he creates custom artwork used for live-stream playmats and event visuals. His work blends dynamic composition with strong character-driven design, making it well suited for competitive and community-focused events.
One of Mike Angel’s most notable projects was creating the first official playmat artwork for the Hunter Burton Tournament for the Disney Lorcana game. This tournament was organized in support of suicide prevention, marking a meaningful moment where his art contributed to a cause beyond the game itself.
Today, Mike Angel continues to expand his digital portfolio, merging traditional art roots with modern digital techniques while leaving a lasting visual impact on the TCG community.
